Kerala Pravasi Sangam is an organization started in 2002 for the welfare and unity of the expatriates.
Kerala Pravasi Sangam is the largest organization in Kerala which is constantly fighting to get many demands of non-residents from the government. All expatriates can take membership irrespective of political, caste, religion and gender. The group designs various schemes for the welfare of expatriates.
These organizations often aim to create a more accountable and just society by targeting systemic issues that lead to corruption and human rights violations. Their efforts contribute to promoting ethical practices, good governance, and the protection of fundamental rights for individuals and communities.
Pravasi Welfare Fund:Welfare fund membership is restricted to those who are currently living in exile for more than two years, those who have returned after completing their exile for more than two years, and those below 60 years of age.
Amshadayam:Currently, the monthly allowance is Rs 200 for those who have had enough of expatriate life, and Rs 350 for those who are living in expatriate life.
Pension:3000/- monthly pension of Rs. There will be an increase in the pension amount from time to time. In case of death of the member during the period of payment of Amshadayam, compensation is payable. In case of death of the pensioner the nominee gets 50% of the pension amount of the member.
